Balaju School of Engineering and Technology(BSET) was established in 1962 A.D. with technical & financial assistance of the Swiss government and previously well known as Mechanical Training Center (MTC) and Balaju Technical Training Center (BTTC), with the aim of producing skilled industrial workforces to serve the growing needs of established industries in the country.
Guided by the CTEVT Act of 1989, the institute conducts its programs and services in alignment with national standards and industry needs. Through a combination of theoretical knowledge & practical training, BSET continues to produce competent, skilled, & industry-ready professionals who contribute to the nation’s development. CTEVT act-1989 has mandated its programs and services.
